What to Know

🚲 Bring Your Kid's Bike

Kids must bring their own bike to participate in lessons. We recommend pedal bikes and balance bikes!

⛑️ Bring a Helmet

All riders must wear a helmet. Please bring your own!

🏘️ Open to the Public

You don't need to be a PS11 family. This is a community event and everyone is welcome!

Register for Family Bike Day on GiveLively before Friday, April 24th at 6 PM, then confirm attendance at the Giveaway Table on event day between 10 AM and 1:30 PM.
One entry for each child who attends and checks in at the Giveaway Table between 10 AM and 1:30 PM.
Additional entries can be purchased on the day of the event.
Each entry must be associated with an email address or phone number.
Winners will be contacted. If the prize is not claimed by May 1, a new winner will be selected.

About This Event

PS11 Family Bike Day is organized by Bike Families NYC and the PS11 PTA to celebrate biking as a way to build healthier, happier, more connected communities. PS11 (The Purvis J. Behan School) is a beloved public elementary school in the heart of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

Bike Families NYC brings together families across Brooklyn to ride, advocate, and build community through cycling.
